Discover how integrating different learning areas and Digital Technologies supports your students to grow their creativity. Engage with hands on and practical activities that you can take back to your students, while learning about Digital Technologies yourself. Reflect on what other opportunities Digital Technologies has to grow your students’ communication, problem solving skills and design thinking abilities.

This two day event will cover:

  • Discover what Digital Technologies means within the Technology learning area
  • Engage with the Digital Technologies curriculum content through integrating these with the Airforce museum's science, technology and social science themed lessons
  • Reflect on opportunities to integrate Computational Thinking and Designing and Developing Digital Outcomes in all learning areas

Day 1 - 17 April 9.30am to 3.00pm

Day 2 - 18 April 9.30am to 3.00pm

This meetup will be delivered in English however the content will be really beneficial to kura Māori also. We invite all Māori Medium kaiako to attend as the skills and knowledge covered in these sessions are relevant to Māori Medium contexts.
