Sessions will include a play and experiment component with a range of computational thinking concepts as well as digital tool exploration. Our facilitators will unpack the progress outcomes of what teaching, learning and evidencing can look like at each level with examples of supportive content. These engaging innovative experiences will assist planning to empower both teachers and students to make informed decisions about the tools that support current learning contexts as well as new ways of learning.

Opportunities will be given to split into working groups focussing on alignment with the NZ Curriculum and Te Marautanga O Aotearoa. By working with our facilitators you will build understandings of how you can weave the revised technology and Hangaru curricula content and the concepts of computational thinking for digital technologies | Te Tupuranga whakaaro Rorohiko and Designing and developing digital outcomes | Te Tupuranga Tangata me to Rorohiko.

Learning Outcomes for this workshop include:

  • Build understandings of the revised Technology and Hangarau curricula content
