In this free workshop, you will learn how to set up Minecraft, how to use Minecraft to integrate the new areas of the Digital Technology curriculum into your classroom programmes and experience a Design Thinking project in a classroom setting.

The Minecraft: Education Edition software is now fully funded under the Microsoft agreement with the Ministry of Education, so there is no cost for you to use Minecraft in your school.

Who is this workshop for?

  • Teachers implementing the two new areas of the Technology curriculum: Computational Thinking and Designing and Developing Digital Outcomes.
  • Teachers wanting to integrate Computational Thinking and Design Thinking into their classroom programmes.
  • Anyone who is wanting to grab the attention of their learners in a creative and engaging way.
  • The workshop is suitable for beginners
