Description

Wondering how to integrate Computational thinking, and Designing and developing digital outcomes into your teaching of science for Years 5-10? Here are some ideas.

This webinar will guide you through a comprehensive resource showing how an authentic context, such as teenage hearing loss due to loud music, can be used to integrate digital technologies opportunities into your classroom teaching. The webinar will be delivered in English, however, the content will be really beneficial to kura Māori also. We invite all Māori Medium kaiako to attend as the skills and knowledge covered in these sessions are relevant to Māori Medium contexts. This virtual meetup is aligned to the Ministry of Education’s digital technologies implementation support tool and starts at 'now underway'. It supports you to unpack the detail, get organised for change, through being '2020 ready', to 'leading and innovating', by supporting you to feel confident with an Ako style of teaching and learning.
