Digital Technologies, afternoon session

This session supports Year 1 to 10 teachers to explore how Kia Takatū ā Matihiko can help strengthen and make connections with programmes in your classes and school and look at how to support you in growing skills and confidence.

Outcomes

• Making connections with current digital technology practices in your school
• Exploring what Digital Technologies means within the Technology learning area
• Motivate teachers to engage with creatively with the new digital content
• Explore Computational Thinking and Designing and Developing Digital Outcomes in context

This meetup will be delivered in English however the content will be really beneficial to kura Māori also. We invite all Māori Medium kaiako to attend as the skills and knowledge covered in these sessions are relevant to Māori Medium contexts.

The morning session is also open to all and will complement this session.
