Implementation process – Timeline
Digital Technologies is part of The New Zealand Curriculum, beginning at Year 1 from 2018.
- Term one 2018, Digital Technologies | Hangarau Matihiko curriculum introduced to all schools.
- Professional learning development (PLD) supports available from term one, 2018.
- Term 1 2020, all schools and kura will be teaching the Digital Technologies | Hangarau Matihiko curriculum.
