The Ministry of Education has just published 2 new resources to support the use of the level 2 DT&HM standards:
Level 2 Teaching and Learning Programmes
Eight “grab and go” detailed programmes created by experience DT teachers using the new Level 2 standards. A big thanks to the teachers who have shared their mahi for others to use.
A module to support 91898: Demonstrate understanding of a computer science concept is now available. Produced by Auckland University, the module takes students through three computer science concepts: computer security, error control, and encryption. All are woven through a game-based scenario where students need to rescue a city overwhelmed by a devious cyber criminal. This is the first of 4 level 2 modules coming soon.
